On bench Saturday
James (knee) is on the bench in Saturday's match against Houston Dynamo.
Analysis: James missed the last three league games and remained questionable for this fixture, but he managed to avoid an extended absence. He's an occasional option, mostly in the middle of the back line, though he has also featured at right-back. He'll look to rack up defensive numbers if he replaces Jansen Miller or Wyatt Meyer at some point.
Late decision due to knee issue
James has been given a questionable status ahead of Saturday's clash with FC Dallas because of a knee injury, according to the league.
Analysis: James was likely to get a starting opportunity at right-back in Jake Davis' (knee) absence, but this blow could leave the team without both options for the next games. Therefore, Justin Reynolds may be set for a second straight start after returning from his own injury. The youngster will still hope to avoid heading to the sidelines as the extent of his problem remains unclear.
