Assists off bench
Guerra assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 loss versus FC Dallas.
Analysis: Guerra had to settle for a place on the bench at Dallas with Omir Fernandez chosen to lead the line in the absence of Vincent Janssen. He was introduced in the 64th minute and took up the central role himself, and his involvement in stoppage time set up Ariel Lassiter for Portland's goal. With four starts up front already to his name this season, the forward may find his way back into the side should Janssen stay unavailable.
Plays 20 minutes in return
Guerra (abdomen) played 20 minutes in Thursday's 5-2 Leagues Cup win over Puebla, confirming he is recovered.
Analysis: Guerra had been dealing with an abdominal injury, an unusual designation that typically points to a hernia related issue, so his appearance off the bench marks his return to match action. His limited workload suggests a cautious reintegration, and his minutes should continue to build as Portland manages his return over the coming matches.
