Analysis: Meyer has become the obvious choice at centre back since Or Blorian (chest) was ruled out for the season, and he has now started each of the last three games. Across that stretch he has racked up 17 clearances, five blocks, one tackle and one interception, and he followed his goal in the previous outing by helping Sporting to their first clean sheet of the season in the win at Houston.

Meyer scored a goal while taking two shots (one on goal), making two interceptions and five clearances during Saturday's 4-3 loss to Philadelphia.
Analysis: Meyer found the back of the net in the 16th minute scoring SKC's final goal while leading the team in interceptions and clearances. It was Meyer's first career goal as he's combined for two tackles, four interceptions and 15 clearances over his last three starts.

Meyer (illness) is fully recovered and starting in Wednesday's duel versus Minnesota United.
Analysis: Meyer will be part of a center-back pairing alongside Or Blorian, leaving Ian James on the bench this time. The 25-year-old has been a consistent starter when available, and he has been very busy in defensive duties, even though his side is among the lowest-ranked defenses in the league with 39 goals conceded over 15 matches.

Analysis: Meyer is not with Kansas City as they resume play following the World Cup break, as the defender is dealing with an illness.
