Transferring to Minnesota United

Malone completed a permanent transfer from Sturm Graz to Minnesota United until the end of the 2029/30 MLS season Monday. The deal also includes an option for the 2030/31 MLS season.

Analysis: Malone will wait for the release of his ITC to complete the transfer to Minnesota, so it remains to be seen whether he'll be able to debut against Orlando City SC on Saturday, Aug. 29. Malone is coming off a 2025/26 season in which he scored three goals in 28 Bundesliga matches for Sturm Graz.
