Gressel (toe) is available on the bench in Wednesday's game versus Sporting Kansas City.

Analysis: Gressel might be involved in MLS play for the first time since March after struggling with the injury over the past few months. The midfielder was deployed on the right flank last season, but perhaps his greatest source of attacking value came from his role as a set-piece taker, which helped him rack up three assists over 23 appearances in 2025. However, he'll have to settle for a backup spot in the short term before challenging Joaquin Pereyra for starts.
