Mueller (not injury related) is out for Saturday's game against NYCFC, Joe Chatz of OnTap Sports reports.
Analysis: The reasons behind Mueller's absence are uncertain, as is his timetable to return. This shouldn't have a big impact in fantasy, however. Mueller will likely serve as a depth piece behind Robert Lewandowski, Robin Lod and Philip Zinckernagel even when he's back.
Absent for non-injury reasons
Mueller is listed as out for Wednesday's matchup versus Inter Miami for reasons not related to injury, per the MLS Player Status Report.
Analysis: Mueller is an attacker who provides a direct goal-scoring threat from wide and central positions for Chicago, and his non-injury absence is an unusual development heading into the next game. It remains unclear when he'll return to action, but he'll likely serve as a backup option behind Robert Lewandowski, Robin Lod and Philip Zinckernagel even when he's back.
