Involved in two of five goals
Kubo scored a goal with his lone shot and had an assist with his lone chance created while crossing three times (one accurate) during Sunday's 5-2 win over Malaga.
Analysis: Kubo opened the scoring in the 3rd minute before setting up Mikel Oyarzabal in the 59th while leading Sociedad with his three crosses. The goal involvements were the first this season for Kubo as he made his first start since September 3rd.
Down the attacking pecking order
Kubo has moved into a reserve role after beginning the season as a starter, making five La Liga appearances this season.
Analysis: Kubo has fallen behind Ander Barrenetxea in the pecking order on the wing after initially opening the campaign in the starting XI. He remains a regular attacking option off the bench, but Barrenetxea's emergence has reduced his opportunities from the start. Kubo should remain involved through rotation while looking to work his way back into a more prominent role.
