Sidelined a while longer

Marusic picked up some muscle fatigue while trying to push to return from a thigh strain, Il Messaggero reported.

Analysis: Marusic won't be able to come back against Monza this week and will attempt to do so against either Juventus or Parma in the ensuing rounds. Romano Floriani Mussolini will most likely continue to start over Manuel Lazzari at right-back in relief.

Diagnosed with strain

Marusic will miss 15-to-20 days due to a first degree flexor strain, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported.

Analysis: Marusic will likely sit out a couple of tilts, although he wouldn't be new to quick recoveries. Romano Floriani Mussolini has an edge over Manuel Lazzari to take care of the right-back position in relief, as he came off the bench well in the opener.
