Ruled out against Augsburg
Juranovic (Achilles/illness) is not in the squad for Saturday's match against Augsburg.
Analysis: Juranovic is not ready to return after Achilles discomfort and a subsequent illness delayed his comeback. Although the right-back has resumed team training, he misses a fourth straight Bundesliga match after sitting out against Bayern, Elversberg and Borussia Dortmund. He still needs more time to regain the fitness required for competitive action. Union remain without a right-sided option who registered two assists across their opening three league matches.
Could return against Augsburg
Juranovic (Achilles/illness) has resumed team training after recovering from his recent fitness issues, although his availability for Saturday's Bundesliga clash against Augsburg remains uncertain, according to Sueddeutsche Zeitung.
Analysis: Juranovic has made progress in his recovery after initially dealing with Achilles discomfort before the international break, followed by an illness that further delayed his return. The Croatian right-back has now rejoined team training after missing Union Berlin's recent matches against Elversberg and Borussia Dortmund, although he has yet to be confirmed as available for Saturday's trip to Augsburg. Juranovic started Union's opening three Bundesliga matches and registered two assists before his absence. His return to training is an encouraging step, but his involvement this weekend remains uncertain as he works toward regaining full match fitness.
