Trains individually Tuesday
Juranovic (Achilles) remained limited to individual work Tuesday and has yet to rejoin team training as he continues working his way back from his recent absence, according to BILD.
Analysis: Juranovic has yet to take the next step in his recovery after Achilles discomfort kept him out before the international break, leaving his status for Saturday's clash with Elversberg up in the air. The right back will likely need to progress to at least partial team training over the remainder of the week to put himself in position to return. He had opened the season in strong form before the setback, starting Union Berlin's first three Bundesliga matches and supplying two assists.
Hopes to resume training next week
Juranovic is dealing with an Achilles issue and hopes to return to Union Berlin training next week after missing 7-0 loss to Bayern Munich, according to Jutarnji.
Analysis: Juranovic was initially listed as absent through illness but is reportedly dealing with Achilles discomfort that has also prevented him from joining Croatia for the international break. The defender had started each of Union Berlin's first three Bundesliga matches before the issue, providing two assists. He is hoping to resume training next week, which would put him in position to work toward a return to action following the international break.
