Marie was a late scratch in San Jose's lineup for Saturday's clash against Austin after presumably picking up an injury in warmups.
Analysis: Marie's last-minute absence led to a change in the starting XI, with Benji Kikanovic filling in at right wing-back. This would have been an important chance for Marie to produce after his involvement in a constant rotation on both flanks throughout the campaign, but the issue could now put him at risk of missing even more games. However, the nature and extent of his potential injury remain unclear for the time being.
