Will miss Sunderland clash

Jensen (strain) will miss Saturday's clash against Sunderland as well, according to coach Keith Andrews. "No, he won't be back. He has a little issue. He'll miss this week and possibly next week. We'll see how he settles over the next couple of weeks. It's nothing serious, but he certainly won't be available for tomorrow."

Analysis: Jensen had already missed the match against Leeds United after picking up a slight strain in training, with Mikkel Damsgaard stepping into midfield in his place, and this continued absence extends his layoff into a third match. Manager Andrews's comments suggest only a little issue, although it has been made clear he still could miss another week, leaving some uncertainty. That said, his status will be worth monitoring.

Slight strain, extent unclear

Jensen missed Sunday's 1-1 draw against Leeds United after picking up a slight strain in training Friday, according to coach Keith Andrews. "Yeah, a slight strain in training on Friday. We don't know the full extent of that yet, but that's the reason he's missed out today."

Analysis: Jensen had started Brentford's Premier League opener against Tottenham before dropping out of the squad for the match against Leeds United due to a slight strain suffered in training on Friday, with Mikkel Damsgaard stepping into midfield in his place. Further clarity on the severity of the strain and any potential recovery timeline should emerge as Brentford continues assessing him.
