Delivers seven crosses in draw
Jensen recorded one shot (zero on goal), seven crosses (one accurate) and six corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Hull City.
Analysis: Jensen achieved a game-high tally of crosses thanks to his role in set pieces against Hull. The midfielder completed a full match for the first time since May 9, a sign that his rhythm is returning after a muscle injury. His creative value has been trending up in a No. 10 role, where he's also taking plenty of corner kicks. After four appearances, he's still searching for his first goal or assist in the Premier League this campaign.
Building fitness after injury
Jensen has made further progress in training ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against Hull City as he continues rebuilding his fitness following an injury layoff, according to coach Keith Andrews. "Jensen made another really good step with training, considering that he's only been back a week or two."
Analysis: Jensen continues to regain full fitness after recently returning from an injury that kept him out for four consecutive matches. The midfielder made his comeback against Aston Villa, playing 23 minutes, before featuring again in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Liverpool, where he recorded two crosses and two corners. His positive response to training suggests he is progressing well toward handling a greater workload. Jensen remains an option in central midfield against Hull City, competing with Yehor Yarmolyuk and Mikkel Damsgaard for playing time while offering additional creativity and set-piece delivery.
