Could be back in fourth cup round
Jensen (strain) is expected to be available in late October when Brentford will face Sunderland in EFL Cup action, Uzzi Majid of The Richmond & Twickenham Times reports.
Analysis: Jensen will most likely stay out until after the international break but could avoid an extended absence beyond that. He'll aim to regain a starting spot as soon as he's fully recovered from the issue, having played as a central attacking midfielder in the opening game of the campaign. If he continues to fill that role in the future, Yehor Yarmolyuk and Mikkel Damsgaard could end up seeing their involvement reduced when Jensen is ready to play.
Set to miss another week
Jensen (strain) will remain unavailable for Saturday's Premier League clash against Bournemouth and is unlikely to return next weekend, according to coach Keith Andrews. "He's doing well. He won't be involved tomorrow. Realistically, I don't think he'll be involved next weekend"
Analysis: Jensen is making progress in his recovery but will miss another match Saturday after already spending multiple fixtures on the sidelines. Manager Keith Andrews left open the possibility of his status improving over the coming week, though a return next weekend currently appears unlikely. Mikkel Damsgaard should continue to see an increased role in midfield while Jensen remains unavailable.
