Adds defensive presence off bench
Sangare generated one tackle (zero won) and one interception in Sunday's 1-0 loss to Arsenal.
Analysis: Sangare recorded one unsuccessful tackle and one interception during 16 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal. He replaced Nicolas Dominguez in the 74th minute with the match still scoreless, adding fresh legs in midfield as Forest attempted to preserve their defensive organization against increasing Arsenal pressure. Sangare was on the pitch when Noni Madueke broke the deadlock six minutes later, and Forest were unable to recover despite pushing forward during the closing stages.
Bench role since opener
Sangare has started in one of his three appearances this Premier League season.
Analysis: Sangare started in the season opener before suffering a calf injury and missing two games, having yet to start in the two games since returning. He has appeared from the bench in each of those games but only for a limited time, with the club having been impressed by the play of Xaver Schlager. It does look like Sangare will be set for more of a rotational role then, making his value minimal to go along with his low goal contribution numbers and mainly defensive performances.
