Fully fit Saturday
Hendriks (hand) is fully fit for Saturday's trip to Paderborn, manager Sebastian Hoeness told BILD.
Analysis: Hendriks was a bit of a doubt due to a hand injury suffered during a friendly. After some scans it's not a concern and the defender is ready without any sort of restrictions for Saturday's trip. Hendriks appeared in four of the first five matches, starting twice.
Suffers hand injury
Hendriks hurt his hand during a practice matchup versus Greuther Furth on Friday, with coach Sebastian Hoeness saying "I don't think it's broken. Ramon is a hard bone, of course, so you have to wait and see. The first feeling is that it's nothing more than a compression or bruise," David Scheu of Stuttgarter-Nachrichten reports.
Analysis: Hendriks may need to undergo further tests, but it would initially seem there's no serious injury to his hand. In any case, he'll be a doubt for upcoming contests after making four appearances (two starts) at center-back over the initial five weeks of the season. Maximilian Mittelstadt, Jeff Chabot and Finn Jeltsch should retain starting spots if Hendriks is ruled out.
