Analysis: Sanchez has been eased into Montreal, an unsurprising development considering that he just transferred out of La Liga team Sevilla to the Canadian side not that long ago. Last Sunday marked Sanchez's first start with Montreal, and Wednesday ensured that he would begin his September with back-to-back starts. Mid-week, he looked like the Sanchez of old, leading the team in crossing and chance creation, giving Montreal a glimpse of what the Chilean could do leading the charge in a less strenuous setting.
Set for increased minutes off bench
Sanchez will not start in the weekend's match against Los Angeles Galaxy but should see an extended outing after coach Philippe Eullaffroy revealed that "He doesn't have 45 minutes in his legs, but he may have 30.", Maxime Truman of DansLesCoulisses reports.

Sanchez (not injury related) is expected to make his Montreal debut Wednesday against Columbus Crew, according to manager Philippe Eullaffroy. "He'll be in the squad and is quite likely to see minutes," he said.

Sanchez scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Monday's 1-0 win over Real Sociedad. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 75th minute.
Analysis: Sanchez replaced Isaac Romero at halftime and scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute, assisted by Neal Maupay. The goal put them one point clear of the relegation zone. Sanchez has come off the bench 14 times this campaign, and three of his five goals this campaign have been as a substitute.
