Forced off in derby
Glesnes was involved in a collision and left the field after coming off the bench in Sunday's 2-2 draw versus Los Angeles FC.
Analysis: Glesnes appeared to have trouble breathing while being treated on the pitch, so the team decided not to take any risks and took him off, even though he seemed to be doing fine by then. The defender initially took Joseph Paintsil's place but was then relieved by Maya Yoshida. Glesnes will need to be monitored during the next week to determine whether he can see action in upcoming games.
Serves his suspension
Glesnes has served his one match suspension and will be an option for the clash with FC Dallas on Saturday.
Analysis: Glesnes has been a consistent starter since returning from injury, appearing in each of the Galaxy's last seven matches. During that stretch, he's contributed 36 clearances, 11 tackles, and five interceptions, reinforcing his importance to the back line. He will likely feature again in the starting XI on Saturday vs Dallas.
