Analysis: Palencia's availability is excellent news for a side that has continued to deploy Ryan Hollingshead on the right side of a back four in recent weeks. Still, it's unclear when Palencia will contend for a primary role following a four-month absence. He had previously scored one goal while racking up 19 crosses, 12 clearances and 10 tackles throughout 626 minutes of league play.

Palencia (groin) has resumed full training and is off the injury report, but his return to action will come after Saturday's visit to Real Salt Lake, Josh Gross of SoCal Sports reports.
Analysis: Palencia is targeting a return in the next few weeks following a four-month absence due to his groin issue. The experienced right-back will eventually contend with Ryan Hollingshead, who has been covering in an unusual flank for him through the duration of Palencia's absence.
