Option against Atlanta
Mura (ankle) is among the substitutes for Saturday's contest against Atlanta United.
Analysis: Mura will look to replace Gonzalo Lujan at right-back at some point of this match and should then contend for a bigger role heading into the final stages of the season. Having yet to score or assist in 23 games played over the 2026 MLS campaign, Mura is reliable as an occasional source of crosses and defensive actions when he's on the field.
Ultimately remains sidelined
Mura (ankle) ultimately wasn't available for Wednesday's clash against New York City FC despite being included in the squad ahead of the match, the club posted.
Analysis: Mura had been expected to make his return Wednesday after recovering from a mild ankle sprain, but the defender remained on the sidelines despite his inclusion in the matchday squad. His presence in the squad suggests he is making progress toward full fitness, although it remains unclear whether his absence was related to lingering discomfort or a coaching decision. Mura will hope to regain his place in the starting lineup once fully available, particularly with other defensive injury concerns potentially creating opportunities for additional playing time.
