Allen has joined Chicago Fire on loan from Inter Miami for the remainder of the 2026 season, with an option for a permanent move, according to the club.
Analysis: Allen brings considerable MLS experience despite being only 22, having already contributed to Inter Miami's Leagues Cup, Supporters' Shield and MLS Cup-winning teams. The versatile defender is capable of filling multiple roles across the back line and should compete for regular playing time with Chicago immediately. His performances over the remainder of the campaign could determine whether the Fire exercise their option to keep him permanently.

Allen scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Columbus Crew.
Analysis: Allen scored his first goal of the season Saturday, an excellent header off a Luis Suarez cross just before halftime. It was the only shot he took in the match. He also won one tackle and made one clearance as he played the full 90 minutes for just the second time since March 22.
On bench for Portland match
Allen (groin) is on the bench in Sunday's meeting with Portland Timbers.
Analysis: Allen will look to bounce back as a substitute following his absence in the midweek matchup versus Cincinnati due to a minor adductor issue.
