The midfielder should be able to find openings against New England Revolution, an average defensive side overall that has slipped of late. Back in contention against NYCFC
Allen has returned to Chicago Fire's training sessions after completing his international duty with Greece U21, putting him back in contention for Saturday's MLS clash against New York City FC, according to Joe Chatz.

Analysis: Allen scored his first goal of the season Saturday, an excellent header off a Luis Suarez cross just before halftime. It was the only shot he took in the match. He also won one tackle and made one clearance as he played the full 90 minutes for just the second time since March 22.
On bench for Portland match
Allen (groin) is on the bench in Sunday's meeting with Portland Timbers.
Analysis: Allen will look to bounce back as a substitute following his absence in the midweek matchup versus Cincinnati due to a minor adductor issue. He was a consistent starter before that, so he'll push for a greater role in the future, although Sergio Reguilon is now available as well after dealing with his own injury and could leave Allen behind in the competition for the left-back spot.
Out with adductor injury
