Logs an assist
Kamungo assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal), one cross (one accurate) and three chances created in Saturday's 3-0 win versus San Jose Earthquakes.
Analysis: Kamungo created three chances overall and got involved in the offense with an assist. The forward should have a role in the offense once again when Dallas plays Columbus, a team that has allowed 49 goals in MLS play this season.
Ready to reclaim left flank
Kamungo has completed his international duty with Tanzania and is available for FC Dallas' MLS clash against Charlotte FC on Saturday after being omitted from the league's latest injury report.
Analysis: Kamungo missed the matchup against LAFC while representing Tanzania during the international break but is now ready to resume his regular starting role on the left flank. The winger has been a key contributor for Dallas this season, recording two assists, 13 chances created and 29 crosses across 17 MLS appearances. Joshua Torquato provided cover during his absence but could return to a reserve role with Kamungo back in the fold.
