New York RBJoins Red Bulls on loan
Ruiz has been loaned to Red Bull New York from Inter Miami, according to his new club.
Analysis: Ruiz is remaining in MLS play but will switch clubs for the time being, as the midfielder has been loaned to New York for the rest of the 2026 season, with the Red Bulls also holding an option to buy. He has struggled for time in each of his last two seasons with Miami, only starting in five of his 13 appearances. More opportunities could open up with his new club, although a rotational role appears most likely at the moment.

Analysis: Ruiz won the penalty which Luis Suarez was able to score to bring the game back to 1-1. He was fouled by Jack Elliot in the 26th minute. This was his first start in five games and may be helped by the number of players that Inter Miami have absent for the World Cup still.
