Absent from injury report
Ilenic (illness) is absent from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's clash with Miami.
Analysis: Ilenic missed last time out after returning from international duty, but has now been removed from the injury report. The defender should be back available though he hasn't played in the last four matches, even when available. He should be a bench option at most.
Ruled out with illness
Ilenic has returned from international duty but will miss Saturday's match against Chicago due to illness, according to the club.
Analysis: Ilenic is unavailable for the trip to Chicago, though with Tayvon Gray back from international duty, New York City are covered at right-back. Ilenic has made five MLS appearances, three of them off the bench, so his absence does not change the expected lineup. His availability for Wednesday's trip to Inter Miami will depend on how quickly he recovers.
