Seven clearances in commanding display
Norris recorded one tackle (one won), seven clearances and four interceptions in Saturday's 1-0 win over Los Angeles Football Club. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 92nd minute.
Analysis: Norris was Dallas' defensive standout in Saturday's 1-0 MLS home win over LAFC, making seven clearances, winning one tackle and recording four interceptions across 90 minutes as the team's defensive leader in a match where LAFC generated sustained second-half pressure. He helped Dallas maintain their clean sheet despite LAFC's territorial dominance after the break, with Norris' positioning and reading of the game repeatedly cutting off LAFC's attacking sequences before they could test Jonathan Sirois.
Back from suspension
Norris has served his one match suspension and will be an option for Wednesday's clash against Real Salt Lake.
Analysis: Norris is set to rejoin the starting XI after missing the Austin match due to suspension. The defender is an undisputed starter for his team, having started 13 of his 15 MLS appearances this season while recording 24 tackles, 23 interceptions and 80 clearances.
