Starts Saturday
Kohler (undisclosed) has made the starting lineup for the weekend's duel versus Atlanta United.
Analysis: Kohler won't miss time due to the injury that forced him off in the previous contest, featuring as a center-back and leaving Tanner Beason on the bench. The 21-year-old has been a constant source of defensive stats this year, racking up 43 clearances over his last eight MLS appearances, even though New England have struggled to keep clean sheets lately.
Forced off late against Toronto
Kohler (undisclosed) was forced off due to injury in the 86th minute of Wednesday's 0-0 draw against Toronto FC, according to Sky Sports.
Analysis: Kohler started the match at center back alongside Mamadou Fofana, part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in New England's return from the World Cup break. Brayan Ceballos is expected to see a larger role at the back for New England if Kohler has to miss time, and further clarity on the severity of the late injury should emerge as the club approaches its next fixture against Atlanta on Saturday.
