Diao is nursing a small flexor strain in his left thigh and will try to return against Inter on November 8, Sky Italy reported
Analysis: Diao got hurt while scoring midweek and will need about three weeks to recuperate. He might be held out until the next break. Jesus Rodriguez, Mattia Liberali and Maxence Caqueret are set to enjoy an uptick in minutes on the flank.
Scores and limps off versus Feyenoord
Diao scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Wednesday's match versus Feyenoord before exiting at the 23rd minute due to a thigh issue, Sky Italy reported.
Analysis: Diao hit the net on one of his first runs, wriggling free on the right flank and finishing with aplomb. However, he started displaying some discomfort shortly thereafter and eventually bowed out. He'll need to be assessed ahead of Sunday's home game versus Fiorentina. Jesus Rodriguez, Maxence Caqueret and Jayden Addai are the next men up.
