Kossa-Rienzi (ankle) has made the starting lineup for Saturday's trip to Los Angeles Galaxy.
Analysis: Kossa-Rienzi was ultimately not sidelined for as long as originally expected despite being forced off in the first half the last time he played. His presence at right-back means Alexander Roldan also stays put in a central spot while Ryan Sailor must wait for his opportunity off the bench. The wide defender has focused on defensive duties lately but providing sporadic offensive sparks which have led him to score two goals over his last six MLS appearances.
Will miss multiple weeks
Kossa-Rienzi could miss between two to three weeks due to a sprained ankle, according to Niko Moreno of MLS.com.
Analysis: Kossa-Rienzi departed last week's match against New York Red Bulls due to the injury, and Brian Schmetzer's update wasn't encouraging. The midfielder has been playing regularly this season, as he's started in 15 of his 20 MLS appearances, so his absence will leave a void in midfield. Alexander Roldan could slot at right-back with Kossa-Rienzi sidelined, but Ryan Sailor could be another option to fill that void.
