Borges (groin) is still recovering from his adductor injury, with coach Raphael Wicky confirming he's still apart from the team, KC Soccer Journal reports.
Analysis: Borges may continue to miss games and might lack value through the end of the season given that he has barely played a role in 2026. Still, with all of Borges, Moises Mosquera (hamstring) and Or Blorian (chest) unavailable, SKC's defensive depth is greatly limited while Wyatt Meyer and Jansen Miller carry center-back responsibilities.

Borges is listed as questionable for upcoming action because of an adductor discomfort, the MLS reported Friday.
Analysis: Borges is a reserve center-back option at Sporting KC, so his adductor concern does not threaten the starting defensive pairing directly. However, if Moises Mosquera (hamstring) misses the next games, Jansen Miller may provide cover alongside Wyatt Meyer. Borges' availability remains to be confirmed given his questionable status.
