Goal and assist in shutout win

Najar recorded a goal and an assist on one shot (on target) in Wednesday's 4-0 win over Sporting Kansas City.

Analysis: Najar's cross set up Hany Mukhtar's opener before he headed home a corner for Nashville's third. He came off in the 68th minute after contributing to two early goals. He'll look to keep it going in Saturday's road tilt at San Jose.

Assists in back-to-back outings

Najar took one shot, created two chances, and assisted in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Chicago Fire.

Analysis: Najar has assisted in back-to-back appearances and is up to seven helpers on the season. The Honduran is a big reason why Nashville is in the midst of a record-breaking season, providing defensive coverage at outside back and making his presence felt in the attack. Up next is another favorable home match against Toronto FC.
