Signs five-year deal with Brentford
Sangare is a new addition to Brentford's roster after departing Ligue 1 side Lens for the 2026/27 campaign, his new club announced Saturday.
Analysis: Sangare will boost the Bees' central midfield ability after a consistent season in France, where he stood out as an all-around contributor, scoring three goals and four assists while averaging 1.8 shots, 1.3 chances created, 7.1 balls recovered and 3.0 tackles per game in league play. He's also a Mali international since 2024 and has previous experience in various Austrian clubs. He'll challenge Vitaly Janelt and Yehor Yarmolyuk for starts in the next Premier League campaign.

Sangare is available for selection after serving his league suspension in Friday's win over Nantes.
Analysis: Sangare will look to regain a central midfield spot following his ban, in which case Amadou Haidara and Andrija Bulatovic will be at risk of dropping to bench roles.
